Hock Splint Brace for dogs
The new Hock Splint Brace helps dogs with tendon and ligament injuries, such as tarsal hyperextension. The combination of ARD Neoprene (High Dynamic Resistance) together with flexible lateral splints allows to stabilise and support the dog's joint without compromising its mobility and comfort.
Includes two flexible splints on the sides, which can be removed to vary the degree of stabilization.
Indicated in dogs with weak hock, after a surgical operation or in case of needing support and stabilisation of the tarsal joint due to osteoarthritis or ligament injuries.
In addition to physical support, it increases the working temperature of the joint, accelerating metabolism and reducing pain and inflammation, improving the recovery phase after injuries.
Size
1. Get a sewing tape (or a tape measure and string).
2. Measure the perimeter of the hock (about two centimetres above and below).
3. Look in the size table for the size that corresponds to the measurement taken.
4. In case of doubt between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Recommendations
Gradual introduction is recommended, the first two or three days put the protector only for a few hours. Always check after each use that no chafing or reactions have appeared on the dog's skin.
It can be used both in winter and in summer, since it maintains the heat of the dog itself.
Hand wash cold. Let air dry, do not tumble dry.
